TIM – FOUNDER
“This is what dreams are made of”, or a least this brewery is what Tim’s dreams are made of. Tim Thralls has been passionately brewing beer, creating recipes, and winning awards for over twenty years. Lost Winds beers are based on his tried and true recipes. Tim has been running a family business for most of his life, knowing that one day he would be able to share his love of beer on a greater scale with friends, family and his community. Lucky for us, his dream has come true.
BRANDON – HEAD BREWER
You could say Brandon was a bit infamous when a couple of the Lost Winds guys heard about him around town. He’s got a reputation for being a jack of all trades style brewer, having worked for Stone Brewing as a Brewing Supervisor and in procurement, with a few other stops along the way. He graduated with a degree in microbiology from Cal Poly, where he first started home brewing and bottling for college buddies and fraternity parties.
From there, a passion to brew led him to earn a Master Brewer’s certification from UC Davis, where he was selected among his class to work at Deschutes Brewery in Oregon. The Southern California coast and leading craft breweries led Brandon to Stone Brewing, up until he joined the LW crew. Brandon’s experience and knowledge make him an asset to Lost Winds and he couldn’t be more excited to take San Clemente by storm.
BRENDEN BURLEY- SALES & DISTRO
Originally from Long Beach, Brenden has been on the restaurant and bar business for over 22 years. Has always been into craft beers and cocktails. Especially after moving down to South OC with his wife and two kids. Favorite beers from Lost Winds are Tropiclemente, Unstable Table, Beach Hoppin’ and Lost My Bearings.
