TIM – FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER
"This is what dreams are made of", or a least this brewery is what Tim's dreams are made of. Tim Thralls has been passionately brewing beer, creating recipes, and winning awards for over twenty years. Lost Winds beers are based on his tried and true recipes. Tim has been running a family business for most of his life, knowing that one day he would be able to share his love of beer on a greater scale with friends, family and his community. Lucky for us, his dream has come true.
BRANDON - HEAD BREWER
You could say Brandon was a bit infamous when a couple of the Lost Winds guys heard about him around town. He's got a reputation for being a jack of all trades style brewer, having worked for Stone Brewing as a Brewing Supervisor and in procurement, with a few other stops along the way. He graduated with a degree in microbiology from Cal Poly, where he first started home brewing and bottling for college buddies and fraternity parties. From there, a passion to brew led him to earn a Master Brewer's certification from UC Davis, where he was selected among his class of interns to work at Deschutes Brewery in Oregon. The Southern California coast and leading craft breweries led Brandon to Stone Brewing, up until he joined Lost Winds. Brandon's experience and knowledge make him an asset to Lost Winds and he couldn't be more excited to pull his boots out from under a desk and "take San Clemente by storm".
RACHEL – TAPROOM HEAD HONCHO
Yep, she's local too. Raised in town, a graduate of San Clemente High School, Rachel actually grew up at Lost Winds beach, where she spent the majority of her free time. She's spent the last five years backpacking around the world, drinking beer along the way. A love of beer and the beach are keeping Rachel in town, as she manages the taproom here at Lost Winds Brewing Company.
CODY - SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Cody's passion for all things craft, from cocktails to beers to food, brought him from being a chef at local spot MRK to being our sales rep. He’s excited to be on the other side of buying and growing Lost Winds around SoCal and we are stoked to have him on board. He’s your go to guy if you’re looking to bring LWBC to your bar or restaurant.
